What you said made a bunch of sense. However, what about this? what if you typed a catchier title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added a title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda boring. You should look at Yahoo's front page and see how they write news headlines to grab people to click. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get readers interested about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.
